Messages you paste
Phone numbers, emails and account numbers are removed in your browser before a message is sent for analysis. Links, domains and codes are kept, because the checks depend on them.
Screenshots and documents
Screenshots and documents are sent to our server as they are. The server reads the text and removes phone numbers, emails and account numbers before anything is analysed.
What the server keeps
Text sent for analysis is used to produce your result and is not written to a database. Community reports are the exception: they are stored as a one-way fingerprint of the redacted text, never the text itself, and are deleted after 90 days.
What stays on your device
Your recent checks, your Learn streak and your settings are saved in this browser only. Clearing the site's data removes them.
Who else sees it
Analysis runs on a language model we host. A hosted provider (currently Anthropic) is used only as a fallback when ours is unavailable. We don't sell data, run ads or use analytics trackers.
